In 2011, GMG introduced a comprehensive mouse genotyping service, in collaboration with Australian BioResources (ABR) Pty Ltd. Recently GMG expanded services to include mouse health screening via PCR, supporting recent advances in cage filter and exhaust air duct testing. GMG also provides technical support in real- time PCR set up and can extract RNA/ DNA from a range of samples, supporting current research practice in the genomic age. GMG operates under the NATA ISO 17025 standard (biological). As part of this quality system our staff undergo comprehensive training in standard operating procedures, all equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained, and all tests are validated, and changes are verified (Accreditation # 18464).
